Here is another update on the progress of the upcoming autism awareness auction!

Hello,
Lots of new things to fill you guys in on this week. Buddy Bike decided to donate a bike for our auction, giving us our most valuable item. They also are advertising our event on their website and putting up a great link. Rolf and I will also be speaking on the Ellensburg KXLE radio station on July 16th at 12:30PM. This should be an awesome opportunity for us to get the word out about our auction and really explain to the community what life is like for a family that has been touched with autism.

Our first press release is going to be sent out early next week, hopefully Tuesday. We finalized all the information today and are having it proofed as we speak.

We are currently looking for drawings, paintings, or any art created by individuals with autism. The art will be used for items during the auction. If any of you know someone who would like to create an art piece please talk to them or let us know and we will try to get ahold of them.

One last exciting piece of information, we have two Central Washington University interns that have volunteered to help us with the auction. They are currently trying to help us find more donations and will soon be helping us send out the press releases.
