Things You Can Do
  1. Be empathetic and welcoming
  2. Smile
  3. Speak slowly and avoid using phrases with multiple meanings such as “What’s up?”
  4. Ask respectful questions if you wish
  5. Do not scorn or assume that unusual behaviors are a discipline problem
  6. Be patient, we are doing the best we can
Safety Concerns
  1. Do not touch unless you ask or need to for safety reasons (running toward traffic or water)
  2. If you observe a child wander or running oddly in an unsafe manner, look into it.
