Dr. Dave and Story Time in the news...
August
Ted E Bear Goes to the Beach.
Why the beach? Well, because next week I get to spend a week at the beach with my family. Speaking of family, daughter Jordan came in this morning to read “Curios George Goes to the Beach”. It was her first time reading at story time and I made a big deal out of introducing her to the group just to embarrass her. Unfortunately, she is used to me, and it didn’t faze her at all.
Dr. Dave even got me and the rest of the group to do the hokey pokey. I has been a while since I have done that!!!!
We hope to see you next month for Story Time with Ted E. Bear on Thursday, September 18th, 10 to 11.
Rolf
June
We had a blast at June's "Story Time with Teddy." Rolf read "Oh! The Places You'll Go", Rand shared a story and Robyn read "The Pigeon Finds A Hotdog". Beth even shared the song of the "Five Little Ducks" with us.
We look forward to seeing you at our next story time July 17th from 10am - 11am.
May

We had over forty kids join us last month for our second "Story Time with Teddy". Rolf read "Where the WIld Things Are" by Maurice Sendak, Jillian read "Everyone Poops", and Robyn read "Don't Let the Pigeon Drive the Bus". Dave Lundy brought his "Where the Wild Things Are" baseball hat and his guitar. It was a blast to see all the young people sitting around, well behaved and participating in the singing and reading.
You and your little ones are invited to join us the third Thursday of every month from 10 to 11. In June, that will be Thursday the 19th. Our books are geared for ages infant to 5, but anyone is welcome and it is always FREE.
April
Jere & her colleagues at Parents as Teachers came to Jerrol’s and read stories to a group of kids April 22nd. Dave Lundy brought his guitar and sang funny songs to warm up the group.
It was such a success that Tanya has decided to host a Story Time on the third Thursday of every month! So, mark your calendars for May 15th from 10 to 11. It is open to kids ages 3 to 6.
In fact, we received the following email from Lori Black, the office manager at Eastside Vocational Services:
“My daughter goes to Little Tot Town. When I went to pick her up yesterday all the kids were talking about how fun it was to go to the bookstore and listen to the stories. They were telling me all about it.
I hope you guys will be doing this more….”
Thanks Lori. We will.
